Purchasing Models

If you find the model you want, notify me Email .   I will remove the model from the inventory list for a period of 10 days from the time of notification. I accept money orders and checks as payment.   for international orders i accept international money orders for united states currency.  allow 10 days for personal  checks to clear the bank.  Models held awaiting funds payment are marked SALE PENDING.  After funds are received the model is marked SOLD.  After model is shipped the photo and description are removed from website.

Shipping

I ship UPS ground, insured, adult signature required in the u.s. for sales of over $1000.00. All shipments are insured. The standard fee is $15 per order to cover UPS shipping costs for a brass model sold in the Continental U.S. with a street address.  For multiple model shipments or for other shipping vendors, I will give you a shipping quote.  Non-brass models will be shipped least expensive method.  If you want your model shipped to a post office box , wish to request specific methods of shipping  other than UPS, or you live outside the United States please request shipping cost quote before sending funds.  You will be quoted the amount that will cover shipping per your request.  International customers please be aware that I will always list the models on a customs declaration for the exact purchase amount and will mark them merchandise.  I cannot be persuaded to submit incorrect customs forms.  As shipper, I am responsible for filing damage claims on all models damaged in shipment.  If you decide not to make the model available to the shipping company investigator or decide to negotiate directly with the shipper; I will no longer be empowered to negotiate with the shipping company. Therefore I will no longer be able to satisfy any warranty on the model or be assessed for any shipping damage to the model/s. 


Warranty

Except for sale table items, non brass models  or items with price marked in red, If you are not satisfied you may return the model within ten days.  I will either repair or refund your money at my option. Please  contact me prior to returning the model. The model must be returned to me in the same condition  which it was sent. If you modify, paint, alter or damage the model in any way, the warranty  will be void. If the is model damaged in shipment, please contact me as soon as possible so I may contact the shipping service.  SEE ABOVE INFORMATION ON SHIPPING AND DAMAGE CLAIMS.  Models in the SALE TABLE/MECHANIC'S SPECIAL section are not returnable unless the shipper has destroyed the model or a powered  model does not run.
